ECO over EGO

This is a topic I've been wanting to expand on for awhile now. In the midst of chaos and trauma in our world right now, I want to focus on an important point and responsibility we are have as human beings. Mother Nature is obviously not too happy with us, with the recent natural disasters occurring all over the planet. Things are shifting, our consciousness, our perspectives, and we are evolving.
We are at the end of a 26,000-year cycle of the Earth, Sun and Galactic Plane – the Plane in which the majority of the disk shaped Galaxy’s mass lies. From our perspective on Earth, the December Solstice Sun moves across the Galactic Plane – an event that occurs once every 26,000 years – the result of this is the attunement of consciousness to higher frequencies.
And, with this happening, to move into this higher frequency, Ego is to be let go.
In the above picture, EGO means to rule over and ECO means to be equal. With the eyes of ego you want power and to rule or own things and people. With the eyes of Eco, you treat others with respect, you are caring and kind to all beings. Being ecocentric means to live like you are your soul. To live as a soul on earth and be happy and appreciate what is around you. Ecocentrism is a philosophy or perspective that places intrinsic value on all living organisms and their natural environment, regardless of their perceived usefulness or importance to human beings.
Five years ago, I was buying materialistic things to make me feel "rich" and "fancy"
While living in Los Angeles as a fashion model, you must upkeep this persona that you are high fashion and making lots of money, so when you rock up to castings the other models and the client would think, "Oh wow this girl must be a top model if she can afford those shoes or that bag." Being a victim of my own ego, I booked my first national commercial and the first thing I did was drive to the famous Rodeo Dr. in Beverly Hills and walked straight into Chanel. I bought the biggest baddest black Chanel purse costing me close to three grand. Do you know how many times I wore this bag? Twice. And overtime I felt uneasy and unauthentic because not knowing at the time, this did not align with my values.
Now being a minimalist and a vegan advocate, I've released all such objects that at the time stroked my ego. I just wasn't aware of the effect it had on the ecosystem. The ego is tricky like that, it can cost you, 1. Loads of Money, 2. Relationships, 3. Love, and 4. Your true self and soul purpose. It can also affect the environment which is not only a living place for you but many many other beings.
We are constantly consuming more than we need. Just for pleasure and entertainment. It's because there an empty feeling that we believe must be filled with THINGS. We've been brainwashed into thinking the more we have the happier we will be. And what we really desire and would fill our hearts with joy are actually moments, compassion, true love from ourselves and others. That is what money cannot buy.
We are destroying our forests, oceans, and killing innocent animals for a mere 5 seconds of taste as we chew in our mouth and then it's gone. Food is used not only to nourish our bodies, but to distract feelings or fill voids which only lasts for an instant. Do you wonder why we crave ice cream or anything rich in dairy when we are sad? It's because there is something in dairy called casomorphins, it triggers the same part of the brain as hard drugs, and is highly addictive. Please watch cowspiracy so that you may be fully aware of the entire process it takes and lives that are abused jut for that carton of ice cream. We are using the skin of animals to show our worth with expensive shoes and bags.
You see, we are not separate, we are not individual, we are actually a collective of consciousness so what it done to others is actually done to you personally. This is why we feel some sort of pain or sadness because mother earth is upset with us. We are eating and consuming ourselves to death, there is no Planet B. And after all is done, we cannot eat money and the money will be worthless.
Let's work on becoming one and unite to reverse the damage that has been done. Let's make conscious decisions and think about future generations to come. Think of a utopia that is peaceful and loving, where we come together as a community changing the world we live in by starting with ourselves. To heal others, we must start with ourselves. This is why I am constantly going deep within to see where I'm not shedding light where it needs to be seen. I am still working on healing myself, working through past issues, and practicing self love.
xoxo,
Coco
