Sukhavati Ayurvedic Retreat

Ok guys, for real this experience made shifted my life. In a period of four days, I was able to kick some "bad" habits in the past I was unable to let go of. Since the Sukhavati Retreat I've stopped drinking coffee, which is like HUGE for me, and also quit drinking any alcohol. And since then I feel in so much more control of my cravings and temptations. It's like something just clicked. And I'm sure it's because of the unique combination of healing techniques offered by Sukhavati Ayurvedic Retreat.

First of all, many of you may be asking what is Ayurvedic medicine?

Ayurvedic medicine (“Ayurveda” for short) is one of the world's oldest holistic (“whole-body”) healing systems. It was developed more than 3,000 years ago in India.

It’s based on the belief that health and wellness depend on a delicate balance between the mind, body, and spirit. Its main goal is to promote good health, not fight disease. But treatments may be geared toward specific health problems.

So everyday I would meet with the onsite Ayurvedic doctor who would examine my health and figure out which treatments and herbal supplements to prescribe during my retreat. From there, your day is fully scheduled with massages, Ayurvedic treatments, yoga, mediation, and meals.

I met people also participating in the retreat who came from all over the world to be healed. We all eat our meals together, which brought a community aspect to the experience.

The property is unbelievable. It's an oasis in the middle of the jungle next to a flowing river. The villas are top of the line and luxurious. And the staff are so accommodating, truly wanting to make sure you are comfortable every minute of the day with warm faces and spirits.

If you are having trouble with your health and tried all the western medicines and ways, but just aren't able to get better, I believe this is something you must try. It's holistic, natural, and has been around for thousands of years. This pertains to diseases, physical and mental ailments, weight loss, really anything. Because it focuses on balances your mind and body by treating your dosha. Everyone is different. This is a perfect example of Know Thyself, Heal Thyself.
